HtN Celebrates ANORA & Sean Baker’s Oscar wins!

After truly independent filmmaker Sean Baker won the freeking Palme d’Or at Cannes this year, he was fast-tracked to Oscar nominations galore! Amazing!

Tonight, Baker won Academy Awards for Best Original Screenplay, Editing and Directing as well as Best Picture. Mikey Madison also won Best Actress for the lead role in the film. It’s always a great feeling when a good person, solid, indie voiced filmmaker and someone Hammer to Nail has supported since “go” hits big.
