MISTY GREEN Trailer: Chris Rock Returns to the Director’s Chair with Hollywood Comeback Drama

After 12 years, Chris Rock returns to the director’s seat for a drama set in the modern cutthroat world of Hollywood. Rock writes and directs Misty Green, which stars Rosalind Eleazar (Slow Horses; Rose of Nevada) as an actress seeking her second act years after her Hollywood breakthrough. Making its world premiere at the upcoming TIFF 2026 in the Gala Presentations section, it also stars Adam Driver, Daniel Kaluuya, Anna Kendrick, Topher Grace, and Rock himself.

A24 has now unveiled the official trailer ahead of its release in theaters this October.

Here’s the brief synopsis:

Years after her Hollywood breakthrough, a talented actress whose career has stalled fights for her second act.
