MOTHER MARY Final Trailer: David Lowery’s Haunting Vision of Fame is Now in Theaters
Writer-director (and HtN alum) David Lowery is back with Mother Mary, a mystical, psychological thriller that looks at fame and identity in a whole new light. Anne Hathaway stars as a pop artist who has an uneasy reunion with her former best friend and fashion designer (Michaela Coel). The duo leads a cast that includes Hunter Schafer, Atheena Frizzell, Kaia Gerber, Jessica Brown Findlay, Alba Baptista, Isaura Barbé-Brown, Sian Clifford, and FKA twigs – who contributed to the soundtrack alongside Charli xcx and Jack Antonoff.

Mother Mary is now playing in select theaters, and will expand nationwide this Friday. A24 has unveiled the haunting final trailer.
As the official synopsis reads:
Long-buried wounds rise to the surface when iconic pop star Mother Mary (Hathaway) reunites with her estranged best friend and former costume designer Sam Anselm (Coel) on the eve of her comeback performance.
