HOW TO BLOW UP A PIPELINE Trailer: Environmental Activists Are On a Daring Mission in TIFF Breakout

In a time when climate change is growing rapidly, one film provides a very questionable solution. How To Blow Up A Pipeline follows a group of young environmental activists who are determined to demolish an oil pipeline in West Texas. The TIFF breakout thriller, directed and co-written by Daniel Goldhaber, is based on Andreas Malm’s controversial nonfiction book which is a manifesto of sorts that argues that “property destruction and violence is the route for revolutionary change.”

The film features an ensemble cast that includes Sasha Lane, Forest Goodluck, Ariela Barer, Lukas Gage, Marcus Scribner, Jayme Lawson, Jake Weary, and Kristine Froseth. It has been described as part high-stakes heist and part exploration of the drastic measures taken for environmental activism, as Malm’s book argues.

Neon will release How To Blow Up A Pipeline in theaters on April 7.
