SXSW 2024 LINEUP: New Films From Crystal Moselle, Pamela Adlon, & Roshan Sethi Coming to Austin

The SXSW Film Festival has just announced the lineup for its competition and spotlight titles for its 2024 edition, which will be held in Austin from March 8 – 16. The screening sections include Headliner; Narrative Feature Competition; Documentary Feature Competition; Narrative Spotlight; Documentary Spotlight; Visions; Midnighter; Global; 24 Beats Per Second; Festival Favorite, and Special Screening. While additional films will be announced at a later date, the lineup in these sections features exciting new works from both industry titans and breakout voices.

Some of the notable titles making their premieres at the festival include David Leitch’s The Fall Guy and Pamela Adlon’s comedy Babes, starring Ilana Glazer and Michelle Buteau. Other anticipated titles include Tilman Singer’s horror film Cuckoo, Roshan Sethi’s comedy A Nice Indian Boy, the Barbie Ferreira/John Leguizamo-starrer Bob Trevino Likes It, and The Black Sea which Crystal Moselle (Skate Kitchen) directs alongside Derrick B. Harden.
