THE FEELING THAT THE TIME FOR DOING SOMETHING HAS PASSED Trailer: Joanna Arnow Bares All in Her Deadpan BDSM Comedy

Millennial complexes and BDSM go hand-in-hand in writer-director/actor Joanna Arnow’s comedy The Feeling That The Time for Doing Something Has Passed. Arnow stars as Ann, a 30-something New Yorker navigating her long-term casual BDSM relationship, low-level corporate job, and quarrelsome Jewish family. It had its world premiere at last year’s Cannes Directors Fortnight, before screening at TIFF and NYFF. The film is executive produced by Sean Baker, and also stars Scott Cohen, Babak Tafti, Alysia Reiner, Peter Vack, Parish Bradley, and Michael Cyril Creighton.

Arnow also edited the film, which is a follow-up to her 2013 feature, i hate myself:). It is set to arrive in theaters April 26. Magnolia Pictures has just released the official trailer that features ball gags, pig costumes, and emotionally detached dates.
