KINDS OF KINDNESS Teaser Trailer: Yorgos Lanthimos & Emma Stone Reunite for Anthology Comedy

Fresh off her second Best Actress Oscar win for her performance in Yorgos Lanthimos’ Poor Things, Emma Stone’s newest collaboration with the director will be arriving a lot sooner than expected. Lanthimos’ anthology comedy Kinds of Kindness (originally titled AND) centers on three separate storylines featuring a starry ensemble of Stone, Willem Dafoe, Jesse Plemons, Margaret Qualley, Hunter Schaefer, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, and Mamoudou Athie.

Lanthimos co-wrote the film with frequent screenwriting collaborator Efthimis Filippou, with whom he worked on Dogtooth, Alps, The Lobster, and The Killing of a Sacred Deer. Lanthimos also reunites with his Poor Things cinematographer Robbie Ryan and composer Jerskin Fendrix. Searchlight Pictures has just unveiled a teaser trailer ahead of its June 21st release – and hopeful Cannes premiere beforehand.

As the official synopsis reads:

KINDS OF KINDNESS is a triptych fable, following a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life; a policeman who is alarmed that his wife who was missing-at-sea has returned and seems a different person; and a woman determined to find a specific someone with a special ability, who is destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader.
