Chilean filmmaker Maite Alberdi focuses her camera on a group of septuagenarians who have been meeting for tea for several decades. The film serves as a look into the lives of these women but also serves notice that nothing lasts forever.

Joey Kuhn turns his lens on two best friends who love each other, but maybe one loves the other a little differently. The result is an intimate look at love, friendship and the impending gloom of adulthood in modern day Manhattan.

In director Rodney Ascher's ("Room 237") hybrid documentary "The Nightmare" he takes a long look at sleep paralysis and recreates the terrifying images that keep its sufferers up at night.

Described as " 'When Harry Met Sally' for assholes" writer/director Leslye Headland’s "Sleeping with Other People" is a Rom-Com that eschews most cutesy, fake tropes that have rendered that genre nearly dead.

Irish filmmaker Gerard Barrett takes a documentary style approach to this heavy tour-de-force about an Irish family in turmoil. Glassland is an incredibly bleak and intense 90 minutes that haunts you for days after. The lasting impression it leaves is especially remarkable considering the budget and time constraints under which Barrett worked.
