Watch WEAPONS Original Opening Scene

This is not to be missed: the original opening scene of Adam Bhala Lough’s Weapons, as it appeared at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival. As the YouTube description explains, the UGK song “One Day (DJ Screw Mix)” was unable to be cleared for the Lionsgate home video release. Read Brandon Harris’ review of the film, as well as his refreshingly candid conversation with Lough about the film’s post-production troubles, and then WATCH THIS CLIP. Who knows how long it will stay up, so be sure to watch it right away. Then watch it again. It’s a real powerhouse.
