WATCH: Emotions Are Exorcised in an Exclusive Clip for ‘With Love and a Major Organ’

If one is in the mood for a melancholic sci-fi love story, the best option this season is With Love and a Major Organ. Directed by Kim Albright with a script penned by Julia Lederer, it had its world premiere to great acclaim at last year’s SXSW and will make its way to U.S. theaters starting this Friday. The futuristic comedy follows the lonely Annabel (Anna Maguire) who falls for a man (Hamza Haq) who shows no emotion for her, leading her to sign up for a program that will erase her feelings.

In the exclusive clip below, courtesy of Circle Collective, Anna Maguire’s Annabel visits the “Small House of Big Feels” to help her forget about George – a man she’s fallen for, who shows no interest in her whatsoever. She settles down into the Journal Sanctuary Room where all her troubles start to pour out. The clip provides a gripping psychological glimpse of its protagonist living in a strange new society.

With Love and a Major Organ opens at NYC’s Roxy Cinema this Friday, March 29, and LA’s American Cinematheque on April 5, before expanding in the weeks to come.
