THE BALTIMORONS Trailer: Jay Duplass’ SXSW Winning Comedy Set on Christmas Eve

It’s Christmas in July.
After numerous years of collaborating with his brother Mark and rising as an actor, Jay Duplass has made his solo directing debut with a comedy set in Baltimore on Christmas Eve. The Baltimorons stars Michael Strassner (who co-wrote the script with Duplass), Liz Larsen, and Olivia Luccardi. It premiered at SXSW where it won the Audience Award in the Narrative Spotlight section. IFC will release it in New York on September 5 and expand nationwide September 12. The official trailer and poster have now arrived.
Here’s the official synopsis:
On Christmas Eve, Cliff, a newly sober improv comedian, cracks a tooth and lands in the emergency care of Didi, an older no-nonsense dentist. What begins as a routine check-up sparks an unpredictable evening of misadventures. Together, Cliff and Didi fight to overcome being shut out by their families, face their biggest fears, and discover their own surprising and tender connection.
