SPLITSVILLE Trailer: Dakota Johnson and Adria Arjona Contemplate Open Marriages in Michael Angelo Covino’s Comedy

Six years after working together on their breakout feature, The Climb, director Michael Angelo Covino and co-writer Kyle Marvin navigate complex marriages in Splitsville. This NEON comedy is fresh off its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, where it screened out of competition. Dakota Johnson and Adria Arjona star as the spouses of the duo, whose relationships are thrown into disarray. Nicholas Braun, David Castaneda, and O-T Fagbenle also star.
Here’s the official synopsis:
After Ashley (Adria Arjona) asks for a divorce, good-natured Carey (Kyle Marvin) runs to his friends, Julie (Dakota Johnson) and Paul (Michael Angelo Covino), for support. He’s shocked to discover that the secret to their happiness is an open marriage, that is until Carey crosses the line and throws all of their relationships into chaos.
