I LOVE BOOSTERS Trailer: Keke Palmer Leads a Gang of Stylish Shoplifters in Boots Riley’s Colorful Heist Comedy

Keke Palmer, Naomi Ackie, Taylour Paige, and Poppy Liu in Boots Riley's I LOVE BOOSTERS

Following his breakout hit Sorry To Bother You and his much underrated miniseries I’m A Virgo, Boots Riley is back and ready to once again flip the middle finger to American capitalism. With I Love Boosters, he assembles a kick-ass cast that includes Keke Palmer, Taylour Paige, Naomi Ackie, and Poppy Liu as a team of Bay Area-based professional shoplifters targeting the clothes and stores owned by Demi Moore’s bleach-blond fashion maven. It also stars Lakeith Stanfield (in his second collaboration with Riley), Eiza González, Will Poulter, and a nearly unrecognizable Don Cheadle.

It recently premiered to high praise at SXSW and will arrive in theaters on Friday, May 22. NEON will also host free screenings of the movie for college students nationwide as part of their College Tour, making stops at colleges/universities such as Yale, NYU, Columbia, Brown, Morehouse, Harvard, Howard, SCAD Atlanta, and more. Boots Riley is expected to appear in person for post-screening Q&As.
