I would like to know if the director Kenneth Lonergan was influenced by Chantal Akerman. Chantal was my cousin and my husband and I went to see Manchester by the Sea and we both remarked that it felt like one of Chantal’s films. Should this not be the right place to ask maybe you could point me in the right direction.
