]]> https://www.hammertonail.com/reviews/margaret-film-review/#comment-14504 Wed, 19 Oct 2011 06:59:00 +0000 http://www.hammertonail.com/?p=13349#comment-14504 Great review.  Hands-down my favorite edit in the film was where Lonergan cuts from a explosive argument between Lisa and her mother (Joan) to Josh Hamilton’s horrified face as Joan storms onto the stage to begin her scene!   It blew me away.  I gave the film a loud round of applause during the closing credits and then felt like a complete dork because no one else was clapping!   If a reputable filmmaker other than Lonergan had released this film (Woody Allen, Francis Ford Coppola), it would have been touted as a masterpiece!  It’s a shame few people have seen it!
