What ever happened with this film? I saw it at the IFC in NYC and was blown away! Not at all what I expected. I thought it was going to be this "gotcha" film, with the audience tracking the filmmaker's quest to confront his father. What I experienced, instead, was a beautifully told story that unfolded so eloquently and was shaped into a gift -- a love letter to the director's sisters and those that find themselves the victims of any abuse. So smart.
