Thanks for this truth-telling review. Any good feelings I had about the director and the poet were quickly dissipated in this campy ode to gay stereotyping. The most important aspect of Sasoon’s life, his poetry, is just an afterthought as is Wilfred Owen who is given an grand total of five minutes in the film. A nice try that simply doesn’t work.
